From the papers[]

The West Australian[]

"Matt Rosa, a week after notching his 100th game, worked tirelessly for 31 possessions and three goals in one of his best games. Mark Nicoski harassed his way to three important goals, while Quinten Lynch continued to provide solid big-man assistance in his set forward role.

Adam Selwood was also dogged in defence and as Adelaide coach Neil Craig tried to stem the scoring flow with an extra defensive presence when the Eagles were kicking with the wind, it left Shannon Hurn free behind the ball and his clever direction had a serious impact on the match.

And the silky-skilled Mark LeCras capped it all off with his eye-catching five-goal finish.

The Eagles are now charging towards a shock finals appearance and with a brand of football which appears capable of standing up when it matters most."[2]

The Australian[]

"West Coast held sway for much of the third quarter until conceding two late goals to Richard Douglas as the Crows snuck within nine points at the last change.

Adelaide forward Patrick Dangerfield had a chance to get his side within a goal early in the final quarter, but sprayed a 30m set shot out of bounds on the full.

Opportunist Eagle Mark Nicoski seized the let-off, booting the next two goals to restore his side's control.

Nicoski's double blow started a four goal sequence for West Coast which confirmed their seventh win of the season."[3]
